My Family Similarities & Differences

My Family

Differences

Similarities

Grandmother

Until her last days my Lola always spend it working despite being 80 years old and retiring three time. I guess that’s the difference between us both, she loves to work while I always want to relax and do leisure activities.

I was always my Lola’s little minion so normally; I would always adapt her little habits and attitudes as well, like waking up at 5am to watch the Sunrise, being family oriented, and always thinking and helping others.

Grandfather

Lolo was always gifted with Art and Music, which is our difference because I am more into acting and directing.

We both share a love for Art, Music, Dancing, Drawing, and spending time in nature.

Maternal Grandparents

I grew up in a Patrilocal setting, but my Maternal Grandparents always visit… I guess the only difference we have is how we were raised, since me and my siblings are more exposed to my father’s side than my mother’s. In my mother’s side they are more outgoing, vocal, and tend to do things themselves (cooking, laundry, washing dishes, etc.)

We both share love for road trips, spontaneous outings, nature trips, travel, and most importantly swimming and snorkeling because my grandfather is an Aquaagriculturalist he spent half of his life in large bodies of water always diving and snorkeling, he always made sure to teach us how to swim.

Daddy

Skin Color

All my life everyone has told me that I look like my father which is our biggest similarity. We also have the same habits and whenever I handle stressful situations, I act like him, always calm and stern in order to solve it.

Mommy

Our facial appearance

It will always have to be my morals and principles that I share with my mother which is why we often agree on certain situations because of it. We also have the very same temper which causes more uproar in the house.

Younger Sister

Often times people have us confused because my sister looks like my mother and I look like our father.

Despite having Special needs and Developmental Delays, my sister and I actually have a lot in common. We both inherited our mother’s temper. My sister and I love to dress up and talk about our favorite K-pop bands and watch movies.

Younger Brother (Bunso)

Gender, He likes learning about science and I like more Humanities and Social Sciences topics

We share the same Humor, whenever we both team up we’re unstoppable, we have the same appetite, and share clothes and shoes
