Second, a comprehensive physical examination assesses range of motion, strength, sensation, and coordination. Third, the client is observed performing functional tasks to identify areas of difficulty. Then, a detailed analysis of the collected data determines the client’s specific needs. After this, an individualized treatment plan is developed. This plan addresses the client’s impairments, limitations, and participation restrictions. Finally, the therapist collaborates with the client to establish realistic and achievable goals for therapy.
